You don’t have time to react, as it beeps suddenly opening as silver liquid coats your paws. A small fox runs up, muttering as he grabs the box. “That was my project! Oh jeez…” The silver stuff is completely all over your paws, and as he grabs a cloth and tries to wipe it, it moves up your legs, coating them. “Oh nonononono…” You yelp, your legs feeling numb as the goo covers them, the fox running off to grab someone as you watch the goo. It’s completely covering your legs now, and your paws seem to… change? You feel like they’re becoming heavier, and as you try to wipe it off it sticks to your hands. Reaching your tail, it seems to pull your tail in, sticking to your back as it begins to feel a lot heavier. The fox comes back with a few others, who all just stare as the goo forms into a large shell on your back. The metallic goo swirls into patterns, as you can only watch as your legs grow stumpier, arms shrinking as you lose about a foot in height. With the goo reaching your neck, everyone can only watch as it covers your head like a hood, as your entire body seems to sink a bit into the ground, a lot heavier now. You've heard rumors that sometimes people get lost in a literal maze that the mountain tends to construct from time to time, a sort of magical effect around this area...It's quite the inconvenience for any land owners here for constructing new buildings, so they never expanded the city out here. So we are making special foods that taste the same, but won’t cause that issue!” She slides a small plate to you, a small sandwich with what looks like regular toppings on it to you, as you grab it and take a bite. She watches anxiously, her tail wagging behind her as you give a thumbs up. It tasted pretty good, and you heard about stuff like this before. Scarfing down the rest, the entire group thanks you as you walk off, not noticing your eyes turning yellow. Walking next to the path, your throat began to feel like something was stuck as you coughed, stopping under a tree. You lean over as you feel yourself grow hot, still coughing as suddenly, your tongue shoots out and sticks to the tree. What the hell? You grab at it, trying to unstick it as your hands seem to suddenly shift, fingers sticking as your fur starts to fall out. Your skin was turning dark underneath, becoming bumpy as you managed to get your tongue back in your mouth, falling on your rear as you expected to land on your tail. You feel the ground under you as you lean against the tree, watching as your fur covers the ground, your skin almost black as your feet spread out, webs forming between them. You were becoming some sort of frog it seemed, as your eyes began to bulge out, moving further apart as your ears fold back, fur falling out as you croak loudly, groaning at how ridiculous you felt. Maybe next time you shouldn’t randomly stop to eat food from someone's science experiment! It gets caught in your fur, thin branches entangling your arm as you grumble, pulling it out. Some shortcut this was, at this rate you’d never make it to the con! As you wander around some more you manage to run into Toran, who stifles a laugh at the twigs still stuck in your fur. “I take it you’re having trouble getting out?” He says, as you give him a sarcastic look. He shrugs, walking with you as the two of you make your way down a new path. “If you want, I could help you. Snakes are pretty good at navigating mazes you know~” He winks at you, pondering his offer. It would be cool to try out being cold blooded, and you did need to get out quick, so you nod. He smiles, his fangs glinting as he lifts your arm. “Just a nip should help, then we can get out together” His fangs extend as you look away, a small pinch making you look in surprise as he lets go. There isn’t even a mark, and before you can ask if he did it a cold shiver runs down your spine. Falling to your knees, Toran supports you as the ground below you spins, as your eyes grow dilated, becoming slitted. Your arm feels cold as your fur starts to fall off, your skin feeling dry as it hardens, becoming scaly. You lift your head as your tongue flicks out, tasting the air to your shock, as you feel your nose being tugged upwards, scales covering your face as fangs slide out. Toran is just holding you up, the ground covered by your fur as you feel your tail touch the ground, pushing out further as it becomes longer and thicker. You let out a low hiss, your ears folding back as they close, as the changes finish. The college has been recently pushing an initiative to get its students and visitors to better express themselves for who they are, so they've been doing on-campus events pretty frequently. Today, there's an experiment going on where they're having people try out a new serum they've developed to help with just that! You're not quite sure what exactly a "self-expression serum" entails, but it <i>sounds</i> interesting. The serum's also been approved by the FDA (Ferrets, Dogs, and Acorns), so it's gotta be perfectly safe!...give or take what it says on one of the advertising posters, a temporarily polymorphing side-effect. ...Serums that polymorph? You sign up for it and sit in a room deeper into the university with a few other furs for a little while. You're a bit antsy, as if waiting in a doctors office waiting room, but before you can get actually nervous, your name is called. You're brought into the examination room and sat on a bed, to which an avian in a doctor's coat steps into the room. Their feathers are a bright blue, and their eyes are friendly. (if: $form is 2)[ "Since you're quite small, we've prepared a drinkable serum instead of the usual needle," The doctor says, bringing out a cup of nectar, "Just have a sip of this, and the effects will be quick." You slip out your long, curled tongue into the cup and slurp up the thick nectar, and you feel a stirring in your body, which briefly warms up. You feel your body suddenly start to grow, the effects of the transformation quickly taking into effect.](else:)[ "It'll only be a poke. The effects will happen quickly and safely. In fact, I can imagine it will feel quite good~" You nod as the doctor disinfects your arm with a swab, then, after a brief moment, you're poked in the arm with the syringe. It takes a few seconds, but your body is quick to warm up.] Feathers begin to sprout along your shoulders, then down your torso. The skin around your arms becomes thick and rough, and your hands transform into dextrous talons, tipped with sharp claws. The feathers that cover your head are shaded a soft grey, while the ones on your chest and your lower body bloom a bright, sunflower yellow, gleaming in the light. You feel your tail replaced with a couple of long, stiff tail feathers, which twitch along with the beating of your heart. You can feel your heart start to beat rapidly as the transformation progresses. At first, you think it's anxiety around being in a doctor's office, but any anxious feeling is replaced with euphoric happiness. The desire to flap your wings and fly away fills your mind, making your legs kick as they transform into talons. The last thing to grow in is your thin beak at the front of your face, resting between your two friendly avian eyes. "There we have it!" He places down his bucket and sponge on the floor as he approaches you. “I've been trying to get these guys cleaned for the past…*huff*, few hours, and I'm starting to get really worn out…since you're passing by, do you think you could help me with this? "I was just setting up pond lillies here before I went over to Eufuria, but I ordered a little too many from the flower shop. You wouldn't mind if you helped me place them in, would you?" The petunias go here, the carnations go there....Oh! Let's get these fine and dandy roses closer to the center, maybe put all these bluebonnets and bellflowers in a neat circle around the patch. You keep the flowers in all their pots, taking a look around every now and then to see how you're doing. ... After a seemingly long 15 minutes of sorting, you wipe your forehead and smile, taking a deep breath of the natural air around here, and from the much better-arranged flowers! All the flowers are now neatly sorted into different areas, right where they need to be, arranged in a circular flower pattern right around you. It's a small little garden circle now, laid out cleanly for whoever was trying to sort this out before. Hopefully whoever was trying to sort out these plants will appreciate it; if they don't, it's not like you took them out of their pots, so they could just resort them again to their liking! ... You have to ask yourself why the stamen of the flowers are glowing now, though. Were they always doing that? The flowers that glow brightest around the arranged circle are tall...purple....The ones you know to be bluebonnet flowers! Though they're usually more of a purple color, the glow is a deep blue around you. Cearly something's kinda strange about all this, but the lights don't seem particularly unwelcoming, even as the glow surrounds the area around you... until green stems begin sprouting from the ground within the circle, taking you off-guard! Woah! Illusional versions of the bluebonnet plants begin to sprout up at your feet causing you to lift your foot up in surprise. The plants sprout upwards and around you, forming a thick maze of bluish-purple bamboo stalks in seconds and obscuring your view except the forest canopy just above! There are so many of the buds around you, swaying with an unnatural breeze that causes them to brush up against your fur. Your little sproutling on your head seems to be twitching and reacting to all the petals of the lupine flowers, although it doesn't seem to be the only reaction you're making, your tail twitching upwards, and then back down. It feels a little stiffer than normal... and bluer! Actually, the rest of your fur is gaining a blue hue as well, and getting a good deal fuzzier! What's going on?...And why does it seem like you could chug a full 8 oz. bottle of a sweet drink right about now?...From these flowers, even? Hmm... You stick your nose right into one of the illusional flower buds, trying to make a bit of a water glass-drinking motion with the bud, seeing if any nectar would flow into your mouth...and thankfully, your tongue is greeted with a sugary, natural taste of something orange, filling...drinkable! You suck it right up into your mouth as your snout seems to be losing some of its forwardness, and your ears thinning out, yet lengthening into black-and-white striped antennae sticking just out of the flower bud. The flow of nectar eventually stops as you pull out, your eyes looking a good deal bigger, too, and your fur mostly entirely turned blue with a little black tint in spots. You pull another of the flower buds around you to your mouth, trying to drink more of the rich syrupy goodness out of another flower, and are thankfully greeted with yet more of it. As you continue to drink, your limbs become a bit thinner, a bit of a silhouette growing on the ground underneath you as something widens out from your backside, somehow poking through your top with no issues...Wings!? It's so strange, it feels like you've got new things to flutter on your back, a completely different, yet not-so-unfamiliar feeling to wiggling your once-raccoony tail about...which, speaking of, has become a blue-furred abdomen. The wings grow out as you continue to drink, and drink, and shrink...even while you are drinking from a couple other flowers afterward. A couple black spots and yellow arcs style the bottom ends of your wings, and little white fuzzy frills dot the ends of them, the natural bling dwarfing the size of your thin insect body...your shrinking insect body, no less...How small have you been getting? At what point did you start fluttering your wings to stay in the air to keep drinking? You aren't sure. You drain about 7 flower buds worth of nectar before you breathe a sigh of relief, your sudden sugar craving being allowed to fly back into its psychological hive, mission complete. The bluebonnets around you are beginning to vanish into thin air, once again revealing the forest and the pots of the flower circle to you...the much, much larger flower pots that are no longer glowing, you realize. Oh dear! So huge, the world has become, but what's to expect when you've been transformed into a palm-holdable sized anthromorphic butterfly? Peering at your wings and your twitching antennae above you (placed squarely around your green sproutling on your head), you can tell you're specifically of the Karner Blue variety, one you'd recognize being around plants long enough to have even seen a couple in the very gardens you've helped arrange in the past. Who would have guessed that this circle of flowers was innately magical, though...? Ah well, it should be all right! Maybe this is nature's way of thanking people who take the time to appreciate and beautify it. Only thing is, you're like....only a foot tall now, at best, and that's including your antennae...Such a petit size tiny enough to let your head get lost in small flowers on or just off the ground, and too small to carry most regular household items without some effort. Wonder how long this change in stature will last...Well, it's not like Eufuria can't account for really tiny creatures, so if it doesn't wear off then, then it's no big deal. And if it still hasn't worn off by the end of the day, you <i>do</i> have plenty of flowers at home you could get more nectar from as a late-day drink... And speaking of shrinking down, how are you still carrying your house key, though? It's not like it shrunk down with you, but you've still got it in your inventory, no problem...Strange. At least you won't be locked out of the house when you need to use it later, considering you can just fly up to the keyhole! The goop slips down through your thighs and around your tail, which lengthens out into a tapered, black and yellow tip. The goop slips softly around your neck, then over your head, morphing it out into a rounded head with a soft muzzle and a long, wide maw. Sasha is steeped in an ashamed blush as you open your eyes again. Your hands have become four-fingered, salamander grippers, and your body has become a bright yellow and inky black, covered in a thin flim of moisture around your body. "I'm sorryyy!!" You quickly get to comforting Sasha. This is definitely not the first time you've transformed into something like this. Besides, you like the way your tail looks now. "If...you insist then. I suppose you've become somewhat like me...~" They squeak, "I'll try and set the rest of the lillies up. You get on to Eufuria!" [[Finish->Endings]]You begin lifting some of the pots around to give the flowers some rhyme and reasoning as to all their positions. The petunias go here, the carnations go there....Oh! Let's get these fine and dandy roses closer to the center, maybe put all these bluebonnets and bellflowers in a neat circle around the patch. You keep the flowers in all their pots, taking a look around every now and then to see how you're doing. ... After a seemingly long 15 minutes of sorting, you wipe your forehead and smile, taking a deep breath of the natural air around here, and from the much better-arranged flowers! All the flowers are now neatly sorted into different areas, right where they need to be, arranged in a circular flower pattern right around you. It's a small little garden circle now, laid out cleanly for whoever was trying to sort this out before. Hopefully whoever was trying to sort out these plants will appreciate it; if they don't, it's not like you took them out of their pots, so they could just resort them again to their liking! ... You have to ask yourself why the stamen of the flowers are glowing now, though. Were they always doing that? The flowers that glow brightest around the arranged circle are tall...purple....The ones you know to be bluebonnet flowers! Though they're usually more of a purple color, the glow is a deep blue around you. Cearly something's kinda strange about all this, but the lights don't seem particularly unwelcoming, even as the glow surrounds the area around you... until green stems begin sprouting from the ground within the circle, taking you off-guard! Woah! Illusional versions of the bluebonnet plants begin to sprout up at your feet causing you to lift your foot up in surprise. The plants sprout upwards and around you, forming a thick maze of bluish-purple bamboo stalks in seconds and obscuring your view except the forest canopy just above! There are so many of the buds around you, swaying with an unnatural breeze that causes them to brush up against your fur. Your little sproutling on your head seems to be twitching and reacting to all the petals of the lupine flowers, although it doesn't seem to be the only reaction you're making, your tail twitching upwards, and then back down. It feels a little stiffer than normal... and bluer! Actually, the rest of your fur is gaining a blue hue as well, and getting a good deal fuzzier! What's going on?...And why does it seem like you could chug a full 8 oz. bottle of a sweet drink right about now?...From these flowers, even? Hmm... You stick your nose right into one of the illusional flower buds, trying to make a bit of a water glass-drinking motion with the bud, seeing if any nectar would flow into your mouth...and thankfully, your tongue is greeted with a sugary, natural taste of something orange, filling...drinkable! You suck it right up into your mouth as your snout seems to be losing some of its forwardness, and your ears thinning out, yet lengthening into black-and-white striped antennae sticking just out of the flower bud. The flow of nectar eventually stops as you pull out, your eyes looking a good deal bigger, too, and your fur mostly entirely turned blue with a little black tint in spots. You pull another of the flower buds around you to your mouth, trying to drink more of the rich syrupy goodness out of another flower, and are thankfully greeted with yet more of it. As you continue to drink, your limbs become a bit thinner, a bit of a silhouette growing on the ground underneath you as something widens out from your backside, somehow poking through your top with no issues...Wings!? It's so strange, it feels like you've got new things to flutter on your back, a completely different, yet not-so-unfamiliar feeling to wiggling your once-raccoony tail about...which, speaking of, has become a blue-furred abdomen. The wings grow out as you continue to drink, and drink, and shrink...even while you are drinking from a couple other flowers afterward. A couple black spots and yellow arcs style the bottom ends of your wings, and little white fuzzy frills dot the ends of them, the natural bling dwarfing the size of your thin insect body...your shrinking insect body, no less...How small have you been getting? At what point did you start fluttering your wings to stay in the air to keep drinking? You aren't sure. You drain about 7 flower buds worth of nectar before you breathe a sigh of relief, your sudden sugar craving being allowed to fly back into its psychological hive, mission complete. The bluebonnets around you are beginning to vanish into thin air, once again revealing the forest and the pots of the flower circle to you...the much, much larger flower pots that are no longer glowing, you realize. Oh dear! So huge, the world has become, but what's to expect when you've been transformed into a palm-holdable sized anthromorphic butterfly? Peering at your wings and your twitching antennae above you (placed squarely around your green sproutling on your head), you can tell you're specifically of the Karner Blue variety, one you'd recognize being around plants long enough to have even seen a couple in the very gardens you've helped arrange in the past. Who would have guessed that this circle of flowers was innately magical, though...? Ah well, it should be all right! Maybe this is nature's way of thanking people who take the time to appreciate and beautify it. Only thing is, you're like....only a foot tall now, at best, and that's including your antennae...Such a petit size tiny enough to let your head get lost in small flowers on or just off the ground, and too small to carry most regular household items without some effort. Wonder how long this change in stature will last...Well, it's not like Eufuria can't account for really tiny creatures, so if it doesn't wear off then, then it's no big deal. And if it still hasn't worn off by the end of the day, you <i>do</i> have plenty of flowers at home you could get more nectar from as a late-day drink... And speaking of shrinking down, how are you still carrying your house key, though? It's not like it shrunk down with you, but you've still got it in your inventory, no problem...Strange. Was it seven? Or nine? You aren’t paying attention as you walk straight into a large bush, the path seeming to end. It gets caught in your fur, thin branches entangling your arm as you grumble, pulling it out. Some shortcut this was, at this rate you’d never make it to the con! As you wander around some more you manage to run into Toran, who stifles a laugh at the twigs still stuck in your fur. “I take it you’re having trouble getting out?” He says, as you give him a sarcastic look. He shrugs, walking with you as the two of you make your way down a new path. “If you want, I could help you. Snakes are pretty good at navigating mazes you know~” He winks at you, pondering his offer. It would be cool to try out being cold blooded, and you did need to get out quick, so you nod. He smiles, his fangs glinting as he lifts your arm. “Just a nip should help, then we can get out together” His fangs extend as you look away, a small pinch making you look in surprise as he lets go. There isn’t even a mark, and before you can ask if he did it a cold shiver runs down your spine. Falling to your knees, Toran supports you as the ground below you spins, as your eyes grow dilated, becoming slitted. Your arm feels cold as your fur starts to fall off, your skin feeling dry as it hardens, becoming scaly. You lift your head as your tongue flicks out, tasting the air to your shock, as you feel your nose being tugged upwards, scales covering your face as fangs slide out. Toran is just holding you up, the ground covered by your fur as you feel your tail touch the ground, pushing out further as it becomes longer and thicker. You let out a low hiss, your ears folding back as they close, as the changes finish. Toran helps you up, holding up your phone so you can see yourself, an anthro snake, your long tail now dragging behind you, swaying as you and Toran manage to find the exit. [[Finish->Endings]] You grab the edge of the suitcase, shuffling your hands around the top of the bag to find a liftable handle, when you find yourself flinching for a moment upon feeling something right on your hand. What was...? Oh, eep, there's a little bit of the sticker adhesive that stuck to one of the stickers' display sides. You rub it off your hands and then pull up the handle on the suitcase successfully, dragging the case behind you as you leave for the lost-and-found, unaware of the fur around your hands darkening in color as you keep a firm grip on the case... It's a short trip to the nearest help desk to bring the lost luggage, thankfully. You can see the nearest desk not too far away from you, just across some distance on this hall of the public spaced. As you pull the luggage with you, you briefly stop to take a look at a couple of the in-port restaurants they have around here, wondering if you should grab a bite to go. You bring one black-feathered hand up to your sharpened muzzle, thinking about what's on the menus. It's surprisingly easy to read the words on them today from a distance and even between people blocking your view; were you always this keen-eyed, or is it just energy still kicking from all the package handling? Ah well. You should at least get this case handled first, continuing to tug the case along as the blackness of the hands extends all the way down your arms, looking less furry by the minute... By the time you get to the help desk, you get a calm, practiced, very polite "How may I help you?" from a tall, refurbished, uniformed peacock standing just behind it. You tell her you want to report a lost luggage that you currently have with... Erm...What? Wait a minute, isn't the white suitcase you have yours? There's gotta be a mistake here, you swear you were about to report a suitcase you saw untagged amongst the items...But either way, your sentence ended up trailing off in the confusion you just created for yourself, as you ruffle your feathers - including a couple of the orange and white ones around your torso - trying to figure out what just happened. The peacock attendant tilts their head. "A lost luggage?" Not wanting to keep the inquiry waiting, you tell the peacock lady you might've seen one back at the luggage sorting stations. One that was white with orange stickers, kinda like the one you were taking to the con today. At least, you're pretty sure you were for...OH! Right, you were going to carry some snacks in it! Birdseed and a couple other meals to eat while at the con! "Hmm...I see. I will record this incident and inform logistics right away." She quietly taps down on a computer keyboard tucked squarely under the top of the desk. "It always helps to have a couple extra eyes in moments like this, lest a package not reach its destination on schedule..." You nod, taking a look back at the neatby food areas...And realize now would probably be a decent time to restock and refuel, even if things in the airport overcharge a bit... 15 minutes later, your suitcase is lightly packed with several snacks and water bottles that you can easily wheel about to the con behind the light taps of your pinkish avian legs. You nod your avian head, making your sproutling swish about a little over your feathered body. You're definitely ready to wheel your goods over to the con after all that, that much is for sure!... Although looking in one of the bathroom mirrors in the airport, you do have to ask yourself if you were always this avian-looking. Well, less avian-like and more literally-birb. Did something happen earlier?...Ah well, it's no big deal! Birds are a norm' around the airport, after all, maybe it just happens every now and then to the workers. And you <i>did</i> help them, so it kinda checks out.... [[Finish->Endings]]As you enter the station, you spot Jasper the wolf by the large, snaking train beasts, with a few buckets and an assortment of cleaning supplies, soap covering a large portion of one of the trains as it waits patiently to be scrubbed down. “Hey, Joy!” he calls out, walking over to meet you, his usually well-kept and clean attire covered in soapy water and sweat. He places down his bucket and sponge on the floor as he approaches you. “I've been trying to get these guys cleaned for the past…*huff*, few hours, and I'm starting to get really worn out…since you're passing by, do you think you could help me with this? I've done most of the work so it'll just take a few minutes, promise~” You take the offer to help. Jasper grins, and leads you to the cleaning supplies. “Thanks, Joy, you're a life saver~!” You take up a bucket and sponge and quickly get to work, scrubbing up and down the large beasts’ backs and sides, tirelessly cleaning and scrubbing and brushing up the trains. After around half an hour, you're exhausted, but the pretty train dragons are sparkly clean, with not a speck of dirt on them. “Great work, Joy! You were a real help!” Jasper says, walking over to you, a bucket in hand “Say, you've been such a good helper and saved me so much work, I thought I'd give you a little reward.” Jasper then sloshes the bucket over your head, covering you in a thick, coffee-colored substance that envelops your body and makes it feel very tingly and warm. Slowly, your features start changing, your fur turning to a warm brown with white accents, your tail thinning out while your ears sharpen…you shake yourself off as the transformation ends, getting a good look at yourself, you see that you have become an eastern coyote! Jasper smirks and waves at you. “Thanks for the help, Joy! Hope you like the new form!” [[Finish->Endings]] The study sounds fun, and safe as well, so you don't see any problem in trying it out. You sign up for it, and sit in a room deeper into the university with a few other furs for a little while. You're a bit antsy, as if waiting in a doctors office waiting room, but before you can get actually nervous, your name is called. You're brought into the examination room and sat on a bed, to which an avian in a doctors coat steps into the room. Their feathers are a bright blue, and their eyes are friendly. "It'll only be a poke. The effects will happen quickly and safely. In fact, I can imagine it will feel quite good~" You nod as the doctor disinfects your arm with a swab, then, after a brief moment, you're poked in the arm with the syringe. It takes a few seconds, but your body is quick to warm up. Feathers begin to sprout along your shoulders, then down your torso. The skin around your arms becomes thick and rough, and your hands transform into dextrous talons, tipped with sharp claws. The feathers that cover your head are shaded a soft grey, while the ones on your chest and your lower body bloom a bright, sunflower yellow, gleaming in the light. You feel your tail replaced with a couple of long, stiff tail feathers, which twitch along with the beating of your heart. You can feel your heart start to beat rapidly as the transformation progresses. At first, you think it's anxiety around being in a doctors office, but any anxious feeling is replaced with euphoric happiness. The desire to flap your wings and fly away fills your mind, making your legs kick as they transform into talons. The last thing to grow in is your thin beak at the front of your face, resting between your two friendly avian eyes. "There we have it!" The doctor smiles, "Now, remember that your feathers require a different kind of cleaning than typical fur. I suggest you pick up a specific brand at the grocery store if you're swinging by Albany..." The doctor gives you a slip of paper with a specific brand of feather shampoo. Maybe you'll pick some up on the way to Eufuria... [[Finish->Endings]] Walking across the grass, you see some stands set up across the park. All sorts of things are littered across, making you curious. Walking close, you see a strange box on one, a turtle emblem on it. Reaching out, you go to pick it up, only for someone to yell. “Hey watch out!” The voice is right behind you, surprising you as you turn, knocking the box on the grass. You don’t have time to react, as it beeps, suddenly opening as silver liquid coats your paws. A small fox runs up, muttering as he grabs the box. “That was my project! Oh jeez…” The silver stuff is completely all over your paws, and as he grabs a cloth and tries to wipe it, it moves up your legs, coating them. “Oh nonononono…” You yelp, your legs feeling numb as the goo covers them, the fox running off to grab someone as you watch the goo. It’s completely covering your legs now, and your paws seem to… change? You feel like they’re becoming heavier, and as you try to wipe it off it sticks to your hands. Reaching your tail, it seems to pull your tail in, sticking to your back as it begins to feel a lot heavier. The fox comes back with a few others, who all just stare as the goo forms into a large shell on your back. The metallic goo swirls into patterns, as you can only watch as your legs grow stumpier, arms shrinking as you lose about a foot in height. With the goo reaching your neck, everyone can only watch as it covers your head like a hood, as your entire body seems to sink a bit into the ground, a lot heavier now. You close your eyes as the goo reaches them, moving into every part of your face, making you gasp as you open your eyes, now bright red as the fox blushes. “Well uhhh… I guess my robo turtle nanites worked hehe….” He says, holding up a large mirror. You inspect yourself, your new robotic parts glinting in the sunlight as you shake your head. You had to get to the con! [[Finish->Endings]] Surely a bite wouldn’t hurt on the way there right? A large green tent was set up with a bunch of tables, with a few reptiles and amphibians running it. As you walked up, a salamander girl grinned at you, motioning you to come over. “Hiya! We’re from ICC, and if you could take a sec we’re trying out a new experiment. Best part is, you get to eat for free!” She exclaims, throwing her arms up. A snake at a small stove chuckles, as you nod. “We are working to create a way for amphibians to be able to eat whatever they want, but some people think bugs are gross. So we are making special foods that taste the same, but won’t cause that issue!” She slides a small plate to you, a small sandwich with what looks like regular toppings on it to you, as you grab it and take a bite. She watches anxiously, her tail wagging behind her as you give a thumbs up. It tasted pretty good, and you heard about stuff like this before. Scarfing down the rest, the entire group thanks you as you walk off, not noticing your eyes turning yellow. Walking next to the path, your throat began to feel like something was stuck as you coughed, stopping under a tree. You lean over as you feel yourself grow hot, still coughing as suddenly, your tongue shoots out and sticks to the tree. What the hell? You grab at it, trying to unstick it as your hands seem to suddenly shift, fingers sticking as your fur starts to fall out. Your skin was turning dark underneath, becoming bumpy as you managed to get your tongue back in your mouth, falling on your rear as you expected to land on your tail. You feel the ground under you as you lean against the tree, watching as your fur covers the ground, your skin almost black as your feet spread out, webs forming between them. You were becoming some sort of frog it seemed, as your eyes began to bulge out, moving further apart as your ears fold back, fur falling out as you croak loudly, groaning at how ridiculous you felt. Their thick tail twitches behind them as they walk silently across the stage. Their fur is thick and a rusty brown, and their paws are soft looking, tipped with soft claws. Before you could ask what that means, the slime has quickly made it's way up your arms and around your torso. The goop is mostly black, which solidifies around your body as a thick layer of moist skin. The goop slips down through your thighs and around your tail, which lengthens out into a tapered, black and yellow tip. The goop slips softly around your neck, then over your head, morphing it out into a rounded head with a soft muzzle and a long, wide maw. Sasha is steeped in an ashamed blush as you open your eyes again. Fweh! That's all of the baggage and packages you had to sort out for the airport, it seems. Nice work! Seems that there were a lot of packages getting thrown around the airport today; not too strange for the usual busy hours for the nest, but chances are the porters and sorters might've been a little overwhelmed without an extra hand to get things around. That said, even with everything being delivered to their rightful planes and pickup locations, there is one anomaly amongst the baggage, one that didn't have any particular matching label for any of the airport sections: a rollable orange suitcase with a couple of stickers in the shapes of yellow birds on the top of the case. Kinda colorful and playful, really makes it stick out on the go and in sorting...Hmm...It's gotta be <i>somebody's</i>, right? Doesn't have a label saying whose bag it is, or a number on the outside you could call to report the bag to...Maybe you should take it to the lost-and-found! Somebody there oughta be able to figure this one out. You grab the edge of the suitcase, shuffling your hands around the top of the bag to find a liftable handle, when you find yourself flinching for a moment upon feeling something right on your hand. What was...? Oh, eep, there's a little bit of the sticker adhesive that stuck to one of the stickers' display sides. You rub it off your hands and then pull up the handle on the suitcase successfully, dragging the case behind you as you leave for the lost-and-found, unaware of the fur around your hands darkening in color as you keep a firm grip on the case... It's a short trip to the nearest help desk to bring the lost luggage, thankfully. You can see the nearest desk not too far away from you, just across some distance on this hall of the public spaced. As you pull the luggage with you, you briefly stop to take a look at a couple of the in-port restaurants they have around here, wondering if you should grab a bite to go. You bring one black-feathered hand up to your sharpened muzzle, thinking about what's on the menus. It's surprisingly easy to read the words on them today from a distance and even between people blocking your view; were you always this keen-eyed, or is it just energy still kicking from all the package handling? Ah well. You should at least get this case handled first, continuing to tug the case along as the blackness of the hands extends all the way down your arms, looking less furry by the minute... By the time you get to the help desk, you get a calm, practiced, very polite "How may I help you?" from a tall, refurbished, uniformed peacock standing just behind it. You tell her you want to report a lost luggage that you currently have with... Erm...What? Wait a minute, isn't the white suitcase you have yours? There's gotta be a mistake here, you swear you were about to report a suitcase you saw untagged amongst the items...But either way, your sentence ended up trailing off in the confusion you just created for yourself, as you ruffle your feathers - including a couple of the orange and white ones around your torso - trying to figure out what just happened. The peacock attendant tilts their head. "A lost luggage?" Not wanting to keep the inquiry waiting, you tell the peacock lady you might've seen one back at the luggage sorting stations. One that was white with orange stickers, kinda like the one you were taking to the con today. At least, you're pretty sure you were for...OH! Right, you were going to carry some snacks in it! Birdseed and a couple other meals to eat while at the con! "Hmm...I see. I will record this incident and inform logistics right away." She quietly taps down on a computer keyboard tucked squarely under the top of the desk. "It always helps to have a couple extra eyes in moments like this, lest a package not reach its destination on schedule..." You nod, taking a look back at the neatby food areas...And realize now would probably be a decent time to restock and refuel, even if things in the airport overcharge a bit... 15 minutes later, your suitcase is lightly packed with several snacks and water bottles that you can easily wheel about to the con behind the light taps of your pinkish avian legs. You nod your avian head, making your sproutling swish about a little over your feathered body. You're definitely ready to wheel your goods over to the con after all that, that much is for sure!... Although looking in one of the bathroom mirrors in the airport, you do have to ask yourself if you were always this avian-looking. Well, less avian-like and more literally-birb. Did something happen earlier?...Ah well, it's no big deal! Birds are a norm' around the airport, after all, maybe it just happens every now and then to the workers. After around half an hour, you're exhausted, but the pretty train dragons are sparkly clean, with not a speck of dirt on them. “Great work, Joy!
